梧州沙歧小學“赤航之友愛心樓”開幕之旅兩天團

2009年8月15-16日

第一天：

a) 早上07：30香港大會堂開車，再往旺角太子站；

b) 08：00旺角太子站(太子站A出口，彌敦道運動場道交界，旺角差館旁邊)接團友，會合一起乘專車出發往深圳灣，再轉豪華旅遊巴往四會市午飯（車程約4小時）；

• 午餐於四會新慶嫂漁港，享用海鮮餐；餐後乘車前往德慶悅城鎮遊覽《悅城龍母祖廟》（遊覽一個半小時）；
• 之後往梧州（車程約1.5小時），入住梧州市四星級豪華金苑酒店；
• 晚餐品嘗特色梧州紙包雞野味宴。晚上逛騎樓城，漫步"鴛江麗港商業一條街"。

第二天：

• 早上08：00早餐，之後乘車往蒼梧縣沙頭鎮（車程約1.5小時），出席沙歧小學”赤航之友愛心樓”開幕慶典；
• 梧州午飯後送返深圳灣關口，轉豪華旅遊巴士返香港。

行程特色：

1. 遊覽"南中國最神的悅城龍母廟"；

龍母廟聞名中外，建築藝術精湛，建有石級碼頭、石牌坊、龍母墳。廟的柱基特高，青磚牆琉璃瓦，集兩廣能工巧匠，經七年才完成。龍母廟與廣州陳家祠、佛山祖廟合稱為嶺南建築三瑰寶。

2. 品嘗四會海鮮大餐、梧州紙包雞！

四會新慶嫂漁港海鮮餐：老火生魚湯、白灼游水蝦、蒜粉蒸青貝、豉汁坑骨魚、蒜子炆王峰魚、椒鹽坑魚仔、慶嫂蔥油雞、冬瓜花蟹、金瓜排骨、時菜、點心、佳果

梧州紙包雞宴野味宴參考：老火煲仔湯、梧州紙包雞、蒜子燜西江鉗魚、時菜炒黃京片、錫紙局竹節蝦、花菇鵝掌亦煲、魚香茄子煲、鑊仔野生菌、西郊油菜、贈送龜苓膏

團費：HK$750元/人（豪華空調大巴）

另：部分團友計劃第三天(8月17日星期一)順道到懷集縣，探訪泰來、連西兩間小學的特困生。

行程：第二天(8月16日)在梧州午飯後途經肇慶市，轉乘專車往懷集縣住一晚，翌日探訪泰來、連西小學，下午返深圳散團。

三天團由舊生會副主席吳牛領隊，附加費用未定，目前約有10人參加，有興趣的團友請早日報名。

肇慶市四會大旺中學"愛心種福藝術樓"奠基！

樓高4層1526平方米的教學大樓將於明年2月底建成。

We just returned from the trip to 大旺中學，here is a brief photo-report of the New School Building stone-laying event.

There were 14 of us altogether, and all arrived fresh and early at the Shangri-La Hotel meeting point. We boarded the bus at 9am; took a short break at 10:15am at a gas station on the way. After a smooth ride we reached our destination and met the school principal at 12:40pm at a local restaurant.




After lunch it was only a matter of minutes before we reached the school at 2pm sharp. A dragon dance and martial arts show was the first program on our visit, followed by a short meeting with the music students, and the foundation laying ceremony began promptly at 3pm. Several meaningful keynote speeches were giving, and the formal procedure ended ceremoniously at around 3:25pm. We took a slow walk around the campus, bade our farewell and began the drive back at 3:50pm. A cigarette- and toilet-break at a gas station was unavoidable and, even though the traffic was not as breezy as before, we arrived safe and sound in Shenzhen at around 7:30pm.




All in all, the schedule was meticulously planned and executed, the meeting and ceremony flawless. The transport was excellent and the driver was courteous and cooperative throughout. During the initial minutes of the meeting (at lunch) I think that we lacked a team leader to do proper introductions (for the benefit of both parties) but we quickly warmed up to each other at the table. Mr. Sin was accompanied by his wife and a relative though perhaps we didn’t have a chance to introduce them properly to the others, but conversations at the table immediately filled up the void. The ceremony was well planned by the school and its staff, but we need to include a photo-taking session in the program in all future events, as it was a little chaotic to gather everybody after the sound of dismissal at the end of the event. I still managed to get a few photos of everybody but I think I might have missed a few key individuals as they have already disappeared along with the staff and students (none of the photos include the mandarin-speaking official). Photo-taking is an historical witness for generations of students and staff and, in my humble opinion, is to be taken seriously.
